中文：
“孤篇压倒全唐”的神作，张若虚《春江花月夜》：
春江潮水连海平，海上明月共潮生。
滟滟随波千万里，何处春江无月明!
江流宛转绕芳甸，月照花林皆似霰;
空里流霜不觉飞，汀上白沙看不见。
江天一色无纤尘，皎皎空中孤月轮。

看过整个指环王三部曲，最喜欢的部分，却是附录里面讲阿拉贡和阿尔温一生的那篇小短文，这里贴出结尾：
"Estel, Estel!" she cried, and with that even as he took her hand and kissed it, he fell into sleep.
