The founder is changyan Liu(刘常研) who self-claimed he was an associate dean of ONLY Education Groups at age 26 in 1999. And he quit it in order to run a new firm. Considering he did not mention his major in his resume, his education background is somehow suspicious. What is more, the average income of English teachers in longre is about 4000 per month according to on-line information, significantly lower than other English training centers.
However, the global education group (huanqiuyasi) is also infamous for its stingy treatment to employees. I have a friend working as an English teacher in the global education group in Beijing, whose salary is about 15,000 to 20,000 per month. I guess his salary mirrors the highest level of huanya and normally most English teachers' salary may be restrained to 10,000 to 15,000. A good English teacher in the shenzhen market normally earn 20,000 to 30,000 with a master degree in education granted from a top western university such as Cornell university and/or Boston university.
There are many factors which can impact your salary, say, your degree, which city you work at, your teaching experiences, and your negotiation skills. Training centers pay great attention to your degree, which in general reflects your education background. Also, please keep in mind, working in a big city may earn much more than a small city, although positions and workload may be exactly same.
